2 Product Description
Dibasic amino acid endopeptidase (EC 3.4.21.61) is a serine protease that specifically recognizes and cleaves the carboxy-terminal peptide bond of Arg-Arg, Lys-Arg and other dibasic amino acids. The amino acid sequence of recombinant lysyl endopeptidase (rKex2) produced by Chongqing IMED is derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and prepared by recombinant expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. rKex2 has a cleavage pH range of 6.0-10.0, with an optimal pH of 9.0. rKex2 protease activity is not inhibited by conventional serine protease inhibitors, such as PMSF.
