2 Products
Carboxypeptidase B (EC 3.4.17.2) is an exopeptidase that selectively hydrolyzes basic amino acids at the carboxy-terminal end of proteins or peptides, especially arginine and lysine. The recombinant carboxypeptidase B (rCPB) of Chongqing IMED was prepared by recombinant expression of Picrosporum yeast, and the amino acid sequence is consistent with that of the murine source. rCPB's optimal pH is 8.0, and the enzyme activity decreases significantly when pH ≤ 5.0 or pH > 12.0; the specific activity of the enzyme in the temperature range of 25~60 ℃ increases with the increase of temperature.
